High-Protein Crispy Chicken Burger Bowl

🍗 Ingredients (2 servings)

For the Crispy Chicken

  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-size pieces)

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs

  • ¼ cup flour

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Oil spray or 2 tbsp olive oil


For the Bowl Base

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (chopped)

  • ½ cup pickles (optional but burger flavor)

  • ½ small red onion (thin sliced)

  • ½ avocado (optional)


Creamy Burger Sauce

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 tsp pickle juice (optional)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch salt & pepper

Mix everything in a bowl until smooth.

1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken

  1. Season chicken with:

    • salt

    • pepper

    • paprika

    • garlic powder

2️⃣ Bread the Chicken

  1. Set up 3 bowls:

    • Bowl 1: flour

    • Bowl 2: beaten egg

    • Bowl 3: panko breadcrumbs

  2. Dip chicken in this order:
    Flour → Egg → Panko


3️⃣ Cook the Chicken

Air Fryer Method

  • 200°C (400°F)

  • Cook 10–12 minutes

Pan Fry Method

  • Heat oil in pan

  • Cook 4–5 minutes each side

Chicken should be golden and crispy.


4️⃣ Build the Bowl

In a bowl add:

  • shredded lettuce

  • tomatoes

  • onions

  • pickles

Add the crispy chicken on top.


5️⃣ Add Sauce

Drizzle the creamy burger sauce over the bowl.


6️⃣ Serve

Optional toppings:

  • shredded cheese

  • avocado slices

  • extra pickles
