High-Protein Crunchy Pasta Big Mac Salad

🥗 Ingredients (2–3 servings)

Pasta

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (rotini or bowtie works best)

  • Water for boiling

  • ½ tsp salt


Beef Mixture

  • 300 g lean ground beef

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika


Salad Base

  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

  • ½ cup chopped pickles

  • ½ cup diced onion

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese


Crunchy Topping

  • 1 cup crispy potatoes or air-fried potato cubes
    (you can also use roasted potatoes)


Big Mac Style Sauce

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 tbsp pickle juice

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch salt & pepper

Mix until smooth.

👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta according to package instructions (8–10 minutes).
Drain and let it cool slightly.


2️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef

Heat a pan over medium heat.
Add ground beef and season with:

  • salt

  • black pepper

  • garlic powder

  • paprika

Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
Drain excess fat if needed.


3️⃣ Prepare the Crunchy Potatoes

Dice potatoes into small cubes.
Air fry or roast at 200°C (400°F) for 12–15 minutes until crispy.


4️⃣ Make the Big Mac Sauce

In a bowl combine:

  • Greek yogurt

  • mayonnaise

  • ketchup

  • mustard

  • pickle juice

  • garlic powder

  • salt & pepper

Mix well until creamy.


5️⃣ Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl add:

  • cooked pasta

  • shredded lettuce

  • cooked ground beef

  • chopped pickles

  • diced onion

  • shredded cheese

Mix gently.


6️⃣ Add Sauce

Drizzle the Big Mac sauce over the salad and toss lightly.


7️⃣ Add Crunch

Top with crispy potatoes for the crunchy texture.
